Data Transfer Working Group
Role of the PHRN Data Transfer Working Group
The linkage model chosen by the PHRN involves a single national linkage unit, the Centre for Data Linkage at Curtin University. One of the major functions of the Centre for Data Linkage is the aggregation of jurisdictional linkages into a national system. In order to do this, jurisdictional linkage units and/or other data providers will transfer demographic data to the Centre for Data Linkage. The Data Transfer Working Group is examining the process surrounding the transfer of demographic information from data providers to the Centre for Data Linkage and is developing a template agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of data transfer.
