Data Transfer Working Group

Role of the Data Transfer Working Group

The linkage model chosen by the PHRN involves a single national linkage unit, the Centre for Data Linkage at Curtin University.  One of the major functions of the Centre for Data Linkage is the aggregation of jurisdictional linkages into a national system.  In order to do this, jurisdictional linkage units and/or other data providers will transfer demographic data to the Centre for Data Linkage.  The Data Transfer Working Group will examine the issues surrounding the transfer of demographic information from data providers to the Centre for Data Linkage and will develop a template agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of data transfer.
