Consumer website aims to 'involve'
Wednesday, 25 May 2011
Consumer and community participation in research is the focus behind a new website launched this week in Perth, Western Australia.
The website 'Involving People
in Research' has been developed by Anne McKenzie, Hayley Haines
and Rachel Skoss with the support of the University of Western
Australia's School of Population Health and the Telethon Institute
for Child Health Research.
Aimed at providing a comprehensive 'one-stop shop' to support
increased community and consumer participation in research, the
website is home to a newly developed series of fact sheets to
assist consumers, community members and researchers.
