The Queensland Department of Health held a Data Linkage Symposium on Tuesday, 25 November 2014 to share and showcase some of the health-related data linkage work being conducted in Queensland. The Symposium included presentations from government and the research community. Topics discussed included linkage facilities, the volume and type of requests received, and researchers' experiences with national and cross-jurisdictional linked data projects. The event was a great success with over 200 people attending in person and 37 sites video-conferencing in. For more information about the event visit  Queensland Health.
