The Australian Government has produced a White Paper on the Reform of the Federation which focuses on the allocation of roles and responsibilities between the Commonwealth and the states and territories. The paper discusses data arrangements, among other issues, and it asks the question how can we make better use of the data currently collected by governments to improve outcomes for citizens?
