The National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) drives research excellence and collaboration between 35,000 researchers, government and industry to deliver practical outcomes.

​The NCRIS Network website has been setup to expose the value of NCRIS funded capabilities and provide a central hub for stories and successes of the projects.  The Population Health Research Network is an Australian Government initiative established as part of the NCRIS strategy.

Data linkage has a significant role in reduction of cervical cancer in Australia. The HPV vaccine was introduced in 2007, success of the vaccine was monitored by linking vaccine registers to cervical smear registers in Queensland & Victoria.
