Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) is seeking feedback on the National Research Infrastructure Roadmap Exposure Draft 2021, to help finalise the 2021 Roadmap.International Data Week 2021 - 20-23 June 2022
Wednesday, 01 December 2021The founding organisations, the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA), and the local hosts announce that International Data Week 2021 will be postponed to 20-23 June 2022 for the main conference. Associated events will take place in the period 18-26 June 2022. The conference will be a hybrid format with in-person in Seoul, South Korea as well as virtual participation.

We are excited to host our first webinar for 2021 in our "Linkage Luminaries" series with the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) on Wednesday 10 March 2021 at 1pm/ AEDT / 12noon AEST/10am AWST.
The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health (ALSWH) is a population-based study which explores the health and wellbeing of over 57,000 Australian women across the lifespan. The Study is funded by the Australian Government to provide a freely available evidence base for policy development and research. For the past 25 years, ALSWH has informed health policy across a wide range of issues including reproduction, ageing, chronic conditions, and social determinants of health. This presentation will describe data linkage and data sharing in ALSWH, and highlight some recent findings:
• the association between maternal depression and children’s early development
• the impact of policy change on Vitamin D testing
• the impact of dementia on health service use in the last two years of life.
